This is the OUTRAGEOUS SPEC for My Lamborghini Huracan STO!
My spec is locked! It's time to share with you the full specification for my new Lamborghini Huracan STO, and certainly the most outrageous car spec I've ever put together. Very few cars that could get away with this colour scheme, but I don't want to hold back on my first Lambo!
After toying with the idea to add a Lamborghini to my garage for a number of years, the Huracan STO arrived late last year and immediately I knew it would be the right one. The decision was re-inforced when I visited Lamborghini Pangbourne shortly thereafter to test drive the Huracan EVO RWD, the model on which the STO is based. However, since then it's been a lot of back and forth with paint samples, questions and ultimately making a decision on the spec I would choose.
It must be said, that never has there been a more complicated car to spec than the STO, from my experience. The sheer quantity of options available with Lamborghini and Ad Personam to begin with, then trying to understand what you can and can't have with one another has made for quite the back and forth to crack on. I must say a huge thanks to Ad Personam for their help to put together all of the different options and understand what I can do with it.
While I've made a number of bright and bold specs over the years; from the red and gold of my Ford GT, to the blue and orange on my Aston GT8, even painting the SLS Black Series in Mystic Blue, but this time around it's another step up in terms of being outrageous, and I know it. There is absolutely no question that this choice will not appeal to everyone, but that's life and for me I want to do something wild and enjoy it as much as possible.
Spoilers coming up... My final spec then is to have the Lamborghini Huracan STO in the main body colour of Viola Bast; a highly metallic darker pink, a much more modern take on the Viola SE30 from the Diablo of the 90s that I had previously considered. To contrast against it will be a similarly strong Giallo for the exterior contrast pack around the lower panels, and also parts like the roof snorkel and end plates of the wing. It will be equipped with the visual exterior carbon pack, and the black 20" Hek wheels, with yellow calipers. The interior will feature the new Sports Seat in unicolour Nero with Giallo stitching and embroideries found around various elements to link in the exterior.
Confusingly due to the availability of options and associated pricing, the car will be supplied in Viola Bast without all of the final yellow and black accents, which I will add either by painting, or with Topaz Skin upon delivery - plenty of which we can see later in the year.
No question, it's outrageous, but it's a Lamborghini and in my eyes that's exactly how it should be!
Excitingly, we've also dropped the new colour scheme directly into the Cheers by Shmee150 shop, you can see those designs here: cheers.shmee150.com
